Open Metalcast Episode #61: Instrumetalcast #7
Things have been a little busy around the Open Metalcast compound, so this episode is actually comprised of tracks I was hoping to put together for the next Instrumetalcast episode. Hopefully this will satiate your primal lust for Creative Commons music, and the hunger for another Instrumetalcast with one combined episode. And while these songs have been in my backlog for a while, they're by no means back-burner material, with the latest by Cloudkicker, Depths, The Multiverse Concept, Judd Madden, and a whole slew of instrumental music for you to enjoy. Shownotes follow:

Open Metalcast Episode #61
You know as a person who has enjoyed listening to quite a few guitar acts over the years I think this is a really good podcast for what it is. I decided to try this episode of the Open Metalcast out in particular because as a person who has had a wide, diverse listening experience of guitar sounds but whom wasn't as interested in hearing the usual rough lower throat vocals with almost zero range which have been somewhat associated with this genre, the fact that it was basically described this as an episode of instrumental songs only, definitely appealed to me. I found many uniquely influenced kinds of metal styles get played here. For example I recall at one point hearing an accordion in the mix. Thought I did not love how every song entirely in the way it sounded or was produced, it can't be denied that I heard a great amount of talent here. I rate this episode at five stars overall.
